Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
NodeFoundry, Inc. ("NodeFoundry," "we," "us") operates this website and the Sentinel product. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to nodefoundry.com and customers of Sentinel, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you sign up for an account, contact sales, or request support, we collect the information you give us — typically your name, business email address, company name, and the contents of any messages you send us.
Usage information
When you visit this website, we automatically collect basic usage information: pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location (derived from IP address), device and browser type, and timestamps. This information helps us understand which content is useful and where the site needs improvement.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use first-party cookies and a self-hosted analytics endpoint
(/tlm) that proxies requests to PostHog,
our product analytics provider. Analytics only loads after you accept the consent
banner. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not record
individual user sessions.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website and the Sentinel product.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To send transactional emails (account, billing, security notices).
- To send product updates if you have opted in.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to run the business — payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and infrastructure. These vendors only receive the information they need to perform their function and are bound by contract to protect it.
Data retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. Website analytics are retained for 12 months and then aggregated.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@nodefoundry.com. If you are in the EU/UK, the legal basis for our processing is either your consent (for analytics) or our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information in our care, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
